Came here last night and we were lucky to find parking on the street right in front of the restaurant. Walking in, we were greeted immediately by a server and let her know the name on our reservation then we were sat right away. The ambiance is really nice and romantic, it's a cute little place for a date or even an outing for friends/family. We ordered AYCE + a drink and service was pretty quick the entire visit. Our server helped explain how ordering works since it was our first time here. When our food arrived, the spicy miso broth and BBH were very flavorful. We ordered American Kobe Beef, Angus Ribeye, shrimp, veggies, and ramen. Overall everything was delicious and we got full pretty quick! Definitely would recommend the ribeye, it was my favorite!

Came here for all you can't eat hot pot. Food was delicious. They're cocktail was delicious. Help was very quick and we got our items rather quickly. The broth for the hot pot tasted really good. The restaurant was a little small but decorated cutely. There's only one bathroom stall, which is for everyone to share. The service was really great and I would recommend coming back.

Even better than how I remember it from years back. My family and a few other loved ones brought me here for a belated birthday dinner--my first time back in YEARS--and it was delicious. We were a chaotic bunch but our server maintained the patience and professionalism of a saint. We did the all you can eat (appetizers are included in AYCE on Tuesdays) and had a variety of meat/seafood with half tonkotsu and half tom yum for the broths. The kobe beef and lamb were my personal favorites. All of the apps we ordered were good too, but I especially loved the chicken wings and crispy tofu (garlicky and exceeded expectations...I would have skipped over it had someone not placed the order). Flavor/freshness Good service Good value

I've never dined at a hotpot establishment since I grew up eating it homemade all my life. I love it homemade still, but man have I been missing out on Heat Shabu!! I went end of April & I'm still thinking about how good their sesame sauce was to this day. In fact, I'm craving it as I write out my review.. I need to go back already lol. They have many diff flavors of broth to choose from, our party went with the miso & spicy tonkotsu and enjoyed both. Meat selection had a lot of variety and we got to try a little bit of everything. There are also many veggies, I only wish they had enoki mushrooms bc that's a hot pot staple, but that's the only thing I would change about my experience. The sauce is what makes the hot pot soooo bomb. I mixed the sesame sauce with green onions and garlic. And be sure to ask for chili oil if you like a kick --mix it all together and it's SO GOOD. The place itself is a bit small, but understandable considering the location. They were still able to accommodate our party of 6 comfortably with a reservation. There are a handful of tables then some seating at the bar with portable stovetops. Service was great, our waiter was super friendly and helpful. This spot may just have to be a new staple in our date night rotation.

It's been over 10 years since I last reviewed this place. Oh does time fly! I have since came back several times, and the new additions are quite nice. Now AYCE is still expensive but considering inflation, it's in range with other hot pot places. They added a BBH broth which I quite enjoy since I'm Vietnamese. Their goma sauce is decent and if you ask for habanero, it gives it a nice touch!! I can't eat as much as I used to, so now we just do large entrees and that comes with veggies, complimentary rice, and a small bunch of egg noodles. Definitely call for a reservation because this place fills fast. I'm also happy they have a location in fair oaks now!

This place is an absolute GEM, the ALL YOU CAN EAT IS MARVELOUS. You can even include beer with this option, the food comes out very fast. It all appears to be super fresh. The service is incredible. This was our first time coming here. We were outside with light rain but the patio heaters made it quite perfect. If you are near Downtown Sac look this place up.
